Body Unwinding

Body Unwinding is a three-layered approach to creating radical improvements to your physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Healing the Physical Body:

Ryan uses a combination of resistance stretching, myo-fascial release, and dynamic joint mobilizations (passive, kinetic unwinding) to radically change joint mobility and structural alignment. Releasing fascia and muscle tension safely eases pain and heals injuries, while relieving stress and boosting energy levels.

Healing the Emotional Body:

The physical body as well as the emotional body contract to protect themselves in response to painful feelings. Ryan works with his clients to overcome this instinctive mechanism to allow for unprocessed feelings to be released. Negative emotions and limiting beliefs directly correspond to increased muscle tension (myo-fascia), which forces bones out of alignment, and affects gait, posture, and range of motion. Abdditionally, emotional stress exacerbates physical strain on the organ system, which ultimately leads to illness and disease.

Healing the Soul Body:

As you clear your physical and emotional blocks, you gain greater clarity and insight into what you are most guided and drawn to put your energy into in your life. Ryan empowers his clients to connect to their own inner guidance, and to align themselves with their Soul’s Purpose, doing what brings them the most joy and greatest fulfillment. 

What to Expect in a Session:

Whether you want to feel greater freedom in your body, or to experience deeper levels of healing and transformation, each 75 minute session is individually tailored to suit your specific needs.
Allow at least two hours after eating before your session. Wear comfortable, yoga-friendly clothing.  Hydrate well, before and after.
